About J-Net

J-Net is the Japanese language specialist network of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI), a UK-based professional organisation representing interpreters and translators. The network was established in 1986 and currently has about 160 members.

J-Net is not a translation agency or language services company. We are a network of individual professional translators and interpreters who are self-employed or run small businesses. Our members work independently and in cooperation rather than competition.
